Ducks Don't Dance

 

One of four pieces I had planned to post for a Delpad event back in 2019. (The robot leg being added is new, of course.) This is the first drawing of the batch. I had finished most of the coloring for it but as I ran out of time, I wasn't all that satisfied with it and focused on finalizing the second one instead. 😅 I based my pieces on the "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" sequence from the film Cats Don't Dance. I was thinking about the song one day and realized this part of the movie could go well with the ship: -Both pairs contained a guy with red hair and a girl with white hair -Both pairs are featured wearing green and teal -The song has a theme of determination; something both Launchpad and Della have a lot of So it's like, why not draw it? x)

...Ha, it kinda looks like they're being abducted, does it? 😆🛸
